John 4: 7-10
Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink”. He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food. The woman was surprised, for Jews refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans. She said to Jesus, “You are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan woman. Why are asking me for a drink?” Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who I am, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.”
If you have never read the whole story of the woman at the well please read it in John chapter 4. It is an awesome story of how Jesus wants us to know Him no matter how we have lived in the past or how you are living in the present. The woman had been divorced 5 times and was currently living with her boyfriend. Jesus knew this and He also knew the guilt and shame she was carrying inside of her and that if she was willing He would give her what her heart had been really searching for. A relationship with Him!! Maybe you feel right now that you are drowning in the waters of life, I am here to tell you there is only one way to be saved and that is to reach out your hand to the One who created you. Living Water Swim Program will teach your children to stay alive if they fell in water, Jesus’ living water will insure that you live forever with Him in heaven. Jesus said there is only one way to get to heaven and that is through accepting Him. Romans 10:9-10 says “For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in you heart that you are made right with God and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” So you can’t just believe and think you are going to heaven, James 2:19 says that even demons believe and shudder in terror. If you have never asked Jesus into your life I would strongly encourage you to do that right now, it will be the best decision you have ever made. Just repeat this simple prayer to God and mean it with your whole heart.
“Dear Jesus, I confess that I have not been living my life the way I should and have sinned against you, please forgive me. I know that you died on the cross for me; I also know that you were raised again on the third day. Please come into my life right now. I know that I have been searching in the wrong places for happiness and fulfillment and I want you to fill that void in my life.
